Chatsy Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 21, 2026

Chatsy runs on your iPhone or iPad. Chat and voice input stay on your device. We do not operate chat servers and we do not receive your messages, voice audio, or chat history.

Who we are

This policy explains how the Chatsy iOS app handles information on your device.

Privacy questions: open an issue on GitHub or use the support channel on the app’s App Store listing.

Requirements

Chatsy requires iOS 26 or later and a device that supports Apple Intelligence with Apple Intelligence enabled in Settings. Without Apple Intelligence, the app offers demo mode (placeholder responses only; see Demo mode).

On-device processing and Apple services

Chat messages are processed with Apple Intelligence (Foundation Models) on your device. Apple controls model availability, updates, and related system behavior under Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Voice input uses Apple’s Speech framework. Chatsy requests on-device recognition when supported; otherwise Apple’s speech services may apply under Apple’s policies.

AI-generated content

Responses are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. Do not rely on Chatsy for medical, legal, financial, or emergency advice.

Data on your device

Demo mode

Demo mode shows placeholder text in the app only. It does not use Apple Intelligence and does not send data to composers.

What we do not collect

No analytics, advertising, accounts, or sale of personal data. We do not operate servers that store your conversations.

How to delete your data

Children

Chatsy is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
